In the 14th episode of tvN's Monday-Tuesday drama 'Beneficial Fraud', which aired on the 11th, a shocking development unfolded in which Lee Roum (Chun Woo-hee) was arrested as a suspect in the murder of Jang Kyung-ja (Lee Tae-ran). In particular, Lee Roum expressed his feelings by kissing Han Moo-young (played by Kim Dong-wook) in the midst of a desperate crisis right before he was arrested.
First, Jay (Kim Tae-hoon), who was revealed to be the chairman of the Red Eye Foundation, revealed his vicious true colors without hesitation. Not only was it not enough to shoot Ringo (played by Hong Seung-beom) when he found out his true identity, but Han Moo-young's father informed Lee-eum of his involvement in the deaths of Lee-eum's parents, creating another tragic situation in front of Yi-roum's eyes.
Yi-roum tried to reveal the true identity of the red eye and endured it, but he regretted that he had not noticed even with the chairman next to him, and the terrible truth related to Han Moo-young. However, even as she shed tears of resentment at Jay's words that shredded her heart, far from showing a weak image, she bit her molars and faced them straight ahead. The more he did, the more Jay's expression, as he trampled on the benefits with a smile, looked like a devil.
Jay's cruelty also extended to his long-time lover Jang Kyung-ja. He urged Yi-roum to directly punish Jang Gyeong-ja. Iroum regretted the past days when he believed in subhuman beings and decided to eliminate Jay with his own hands.
At that time, Han Moo-young also learned about the crimes his father had committed against the Lee-eum family. Above all, the fact that the money he received for doing the red-eye job was used for his tuition drove Han Moo-young crazy. As he was Han Moo-young, who had longed to escape from his father's shadow all his life, the truth broke his heart.
Meanwhile, Yi-roum, who left to punish Jay alone, headed to a manpower office. There, as Jay said, Kyungja Jang was there, and Gyeongja Jang did not want to believe at all that Jay had told him to get rid of him. As the battle of words continued between the two, Lee Roum shed hot tears and pointed the gun at Gyeongja Jang, saying, “There are people I need to protect even like this.”
The sight of Yi Roum returning to the Red Eye Kid again without confirming whether Jang Kyung Ja is alive or dead aroused a sense of wonder. Lee Roum told Han Moo-young in a calm tone, 'Didn't you say you would defend me? No matter what sins I have committed,” he confessed honestly as if confessing the feelings he had felt. Han Moo-young deeply sympathized with her by saying 'I understand', even if he did not know Lee-roum's intentions.
In response, Lee said, “Promise. I decided to defend you,” he concluded, and at the same time, the police burst into the space where the two were standing. The moment Han Moo-young, surprised, inadvertently turned his head, Lee Roum kissed Han Moo-young, and time as if the world stopped for a moment wrapped around the two of them. Then, episode 14 ended with armed police arresting Lee Yom for the murder of Gyeongja Jang.
