Son Seok-gu becomes the ending fairy within 5 minutes of appearing in ‘Casino’

Actor Son Seok-gu won the ending fairy role in episode 5 of Disney+'s original series 'Casino'.

Disney+'s original series 'Casino' is an intense story about Chamu-sik, a man who became a casino legend in the Philippines with no money and no background, but becomes embroiled in a murder case and begins to make the final bet that puts his life on the edge. From episodes 1 to 4, Cha Moo-sik (Choi Min-sik) tightly built up the narrative that helped establish him as the godfather of casinos in the Philippines, earning a rating of 8.4 on IMDb, the world's largest content rating site. This is the highest IMDb rating of any domestic OTT series released along with ‘Casino’.

In episode 5, which was released on the 4th, the success story of Cha Mu-sik, who moved his business from Manila, Philippines, to Kalis, was depicted. There was nothing to be rough on Cha Mu-sik, who dominated the political and political relations in the Philippines and ruled the casino world. With money and power, he entered the best casino in Khaleej, and amassed billions of dollars of wealth by attracting and managing VIP customers, including Chairman Go Young-mi (Lee Hye-young), who enjoys high-stakes gambling. In particular, his strategic sales skills that gradually led him into the world of gambling made us guess how he was able to become a casino godfather.

No matter what, the biggest charm of episode 5 is the ending. It was the appearance of Inspector Oh Seung-hoon (Son Seok-gu), who was dispatched to the Philippines' first 'Korean Desk'. As he entered the Philippines for the first time, “an elite police officer who had never played golf and was an elite police officer without a girlfriend,” the nervousness of starting a new journey in a new environment was clearly visible on his face. Through the previously released Oh Seung-hoon character video, persistent tracking and investigation into Cha Moo-sik was predicted. In particular, his appearance is naturally connected to the opening of the first episode, in which Cha Moo-sik is arrested as a suspect in a serial murder case, foreshadowing the violent developments to come.

Production company Arc Media said, “From episode 6 onwards, incidents begin to occur that shatter the peaceful daily life of Cha Moo-sik, who was on a roll with both money and power in his hands. The pursuit of Oh Seung-hoon, who is investigating the case, gradually entangles Cha Moo-sik. It will be fun to see how their relationship began and how it changes in an exciting way as they go through a series of events. “Please look forward to it,” he said.
