Lim Young-woong's fan club, 'Heroes' Generation' Eastern Gyeonggi Regional Room, is composed of members from Guri, Namyangju, Hanam, and Yangpyeong. In order to continue the good influence of Lim Young-woong, who has been doing good deeds since his days as an unknown, in August of last year, he started a single-parent family. A donation of 4 million won was made for the cause, and 90 heads of kimchi were donated in November.
This donation will be used to support self-reliance of single parents in Namyangju, including living expenses, to 16 single-parent families in Namyangju who are struggling with low income.
An official from the Gyeonggi Eastern Region of Heroes’ Generation said, “We are happy to be able to convey warm hearts to our neighbors, and we hope that our small efforts will be a positive influence.” He added, “I hope everyone has a healthy and happy new year.” “We will continue to share with Lim Young-woong to help those in need.”
In response, Wooman Shim, CEO of the Namyangju City Welfare Foundation, said, “We are grateful to the Heroic Generation Gyeonggi Eastern Regional Center for not forgetting our marginalized and needy neighbors and continuously showing warmth to them.” He added, “The precious donation you gave us will be used to support the stable independence of low-income single-parent families.” “It will be used,” he said.
Meanwhile, singer Lim Young-woong, who continues to donate to the underprivileged, received great love from fans with his first full-length album 'IM HERO' this year, and will hold a two-day concert 'I'm Hero in Los Angeles' on February 11th and 12th. (IM HERO-in Los Angeles) is scheduled to be held.
