'Avatar: Path of Water' close to 8 million, 'Hero' 2nd place Mercury


‘Avatar: Path of Water’ is on the verge of surpassing 8 million views.

According to the Korean Film Council's integrated computer network on the 3rd, 'Avatar: Path of Water' (director James Cameron) is ranked first in the box office with 145,293 viewers on the 2nd. The cumulative number of viewers was 7,888,045.

'Avatar 2' is a sequel to director James Cameron 13 years after the previous film 'Avatar', and tells the story of the merciless threat faced by the family of 'Jake Sully' and 'Neytiri' on the planet Pandora and the long journey they must embark on to survive. It contains stories about battles, battles, and the wounds that must be endured. It has remained firmly in first place for 20 days since its release not only in Korea but also in the North American box office.

Next place, 'Hero' (director Yoon Je-gyun) attracted 68,911 viewers, and the cumulative number of viewers was 1,741,856.

The Japanese romance film ‘Even if this love disappears from the world tonight’ (directed by Takahiro Miki) ranked third with 14,123 viewers. It was followed by ‘Owl’ (10,470 people) and ‘Gentleman’ (10,305 people).
