On the October 20th episode of SBS's variety show 'My Little Old Boy' (hereafter referred to as 'My Little Old Boy'), Kim Jong-kook was seen attempting to learn how to use a computer for the first time in his life.
During the show, Kim Jong-kook shocked Kim Hee-chul and Kim Jun-ho by saying, “I have never used a computer before. I have never owned a computer.”
Later, Kim Jong-kook went to a PC room to learn how to use a computer. He puzzled Kim Hee-chul by asking, “How do you turn it on? I know how to turn it off, but not on.” While creating an ID, a message appeared stating 'Payment unavailable due to long-term non-use of mobile payment,' to which Kim Hee-chul responded, “You’ve never used mobile payment?” in surprise.
When asked if he uses online shopping malls, Kim Jong-kook revealed, “I have never shopped online,” and admitted he has never installed a shopping app.
Kim Jong-kook's typing skills were also revealed. He used the hunt-and-peck method with two fingers and even lifted the keyboard, saying, “But I can’t see the Korean letters.”
