According to YG Entertainment, BABYMONSTER's 'DRIP' one-take live video on 'THE FIRST TAKE' YouTube channel has surpassed 18.96 million views. The video reached over 10 million views within a month of its release and has continued to climb, setting a record for the most views among K-pop artist content on the platform over the past three months.
What makes this achievement even more remarkable is that BABYMONSTER has yet to officially debut in Japan. As part of their world tour, 'Hello Monster,' the group has expanded their Japan concert schedule to 12 shows across four cities, attracting a record-breaking 100,000 attendees for a K-pop girl group's first tour in Japan.
Additionally, BABYMONSTER has been chosen to perform 'Ghost,' the theme song for the highly anticipated film 'Visible High School Girl,' based on a popular manga.
Currently, BABYMONSTER is on their debut world tour, having already performed in Seoul, Newark, and Los Angeles before arriving in Japan. They will meet fans in Kanagawa, Aichi, Osaka, Kanagawa, and Fukuoka.
Following their Japan tour, the group will continue to Singapore, Hong Kong, Ho Chi Minh City, Bangkok, Jakarta, Kuala Lumpur, and Taipei. In the latter half of the year, they will embark on their second North American tour, visiting Toronto, Rosemont, Atlanta, Fort Worth, Oakland, and Seattle.
