Actor Lee Soo-hyuk is set to walk the pink carpet at the Cannes International Series Festival.
Lee Soo-hyuk has been officially invited to the 8th Cannes International Series Festival for his role in the drama 'S Line'. This drama, the only Korean content in this year's long-form competition, will make its world premiere at Cannes, ahead of its domestic release in 2025, introducing it to a global audience.
Based on a webtoon of the same name, 'S Line' tells the story of a mysterious red line, known as the S Line, that appears above people who have had intimate relationships, regardless of time and place. Lee Soo-hyuk plays the role of Han Ji-wook, a detective with captivating visuals and a free spirit, who is on a quest to uncover the truth behind the S Line.
Expressing his excitement, Lee Soo-hyuk stated, "I think this is a moment I've dreamed of for a long time. I am honored and thrilled to attend the Cannes International Series Festival."
In addition to 'S Line', Lee Soo-hyuk is also gearing up for the release of the film 'Paran' on April 9, where he plays the role of Tae-hwa, a national clay shooting athlete. His performance is highly anticipated for its emotional depth. Furthermore, in his upcoming film 'Sister' (working title), he takes on the intense role of Tae-soo, a loan shark leading a kidnapping plot, showcasing a dramatic transformation in his acting.
Meanwhile, 'S Line' will compete against other long-form entries from around the world at the Cannes Series Festival's closing ceremony on the 29th (local time) in Cannes, France.
