K-Pop group CLOSE YOUR EYES, consisting of members Jeon Min-wook, Ma Jing-xiang, Jang Yeo-jun, Kim Sung-min, Song Seung-ho, Kenshin, and Seo Kyung-bae, has made their debut alongside executive producer Lee Hae-in.
The group held a showcase for their debut album 'ETERNALT' at the YES24 Live Hall in Gwangjin-gu, Seoul on November 2.
Lee Hae-in, who previously worked as a director for the girl group KISS OF LIFE, took on the role of executive producer for CLOSE YOUR EYES. Jang Yeo-jun shared, "After the finale of 'Project 7', we were thrilled to hear that we could work with Producer Lee. All the members were excited."
He continued, "Producer Lee gave us opportunities to participate in the album. Min-wook hyung contributed to the rap-making, and my choreography was selected for the title track." He added, "The concept is about the intriguing charm between a boy and a man. We had many discussions with Hae-in to express and convey this to the audience."
CLOSE YOUR EYES was formed through the JTBC audition program 'Project 7'. Their debut album's title track, 'All the Poems and Novels Inside Me', is a retro 2000s R&B song with lyrical content expressing feelings towards an inspiring counterpart. The song features honest and delicate lyrics about a literary boy's clumsy love, contrasting with a mature track atmosphere. Member Jeon Min-wook participated in the rap-making.
CLOSE YOUR EYES' debut album 'ETERNALT' is set to be released at 6 PM today.
