G-Dragon Embarks on Groundbreaking Space Music Project with KAIST and Galaxy Corporation
K-pop icon G-Dragon (Kwon Ji-yong) is set to embark on an innovative venture with AI entertainment tech company Galaxy Corporation and the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST), as announced by his agency on the 9th.

The agency revealed, "G-Dragon is taking on the challenge of transmitting music videos utilizing Azure OpenAI's Sora, developed in collaboration with Microsoft, into space." This endeavor, led by G-Dragon, who also serves as a visiting professor at KAIST's Department of Mechanical Engineering, is expected to become a milestone in the future of 'entertainment tech,' bridging space science, AI, and entertainment.

The 'G-Dragon Space Music Transmission Project,' scheduled for 8 PM at the KAIST Space Research Institute, is a collaborative effort between Galaxy Corporation and KAIST, aiming to transcend time and space in the realm of entertainment tech. This project is not merely a musical experiment but an artistic attempt to preserve human culture in space and communicate with other civilizations.

Notably, the transmission is linked with the United States' NASA 'Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence' (SETI) project. SETI is renowned for its historic project of sending music by the British rock band The Beatles into space. The G-Dragon Space Music Transmission Project marks South Korea's first involvement in a SETI project.
