NCT Wish Expresses Admiration for SM Entertainment Seniors Ahead of New Album Release

NCT Wish, the youngest unit within the NCT system and SM Entertainment, has expressed their admiration for their senior artists at the label.

On the 10th, NCT Wish held a press interview at a café in Yongsan-gu, Seoul, to celebrate the release of their second mini-album 'poppop'.

Some members of NCT Wish have been inspired by their seniors at SM Entertainment since childhood. Yushi is a fan of EXO, while Ryo was cast as a 'true fan' at an NCT 127 concert.

Kai, who is making his first comeback after military service, will release his fourth mini-album 'Wait On Me' on the 21st, around the same time as NCT Wish's comeback. Yushi, a fan of Kai, expressed his gratitude, saying, "I've liked Kai since I was young. I just want to say thank you and hope to build a better relationship with NCT Wish."

NCT Wish maintains a warm relationship with other NCT unit members. Previously, Ryo showcased his chemistry with his 'favorite' Doyoung of NCT 127 by filming content together. Sion shared, "When Doyoung was on a tour in Japan, he sent us a food truck, and we enjoyed it. He also encouraged us to have fun and stay safe during our Seoul concert." Ryo expressed his desire to become closer to Yuta, saying, "I want to get to know Yuta better. As a fellow Japanese senior, I think there's a lot to learn from him."

The title track 'poppop' is a dance-pop song featuring a bouncy melody, heavy bassline, and dynamic percussion sounds, complemented by bells and lead synths. The album consists of six tracks, including 'poppop'.

NCT Wish's second mini-album 'poppop' will be available on various music sites at 6 PM on the 14th.
