On the morning of the 21st, a press conference for the Netflix series 'Weak Hero Class 2' was held at the Naru Ballroom on the second floor of Hotel Naru Seoul MGallery in Mapo-gu, Seoul. The event was attended by Park Ji-hoon, Ryeoun, Lee Jun-young, Choi Min-young, Yoo Soo-bin, Bae Na-ra, Lee Min-jae, executive producer Han Joon-hee, and director Yoo Soo-min.
Ryeoun takes on the role of Park Hoo-min, the righteous leader of Eunjang High School. During the event, Ryeoun shared, "In the beginning, I tried to portray a bright and cheerful character, but towards the end, I aimed to show a desperate side trying to protect his friends. For Si-eun (played by Park Ji-hoon), Baku is a friend who can help alleviate some of his trauma and be someone he can lean on."
To bring his character to life, Ryeoun gained 10kg and delivered dynamic action scenes. He mentioned, "I'm currently losing the weight. Each character has a different action style. It's refreshing, so you can look forward to it."
Meanwhile, the Netflix series 'Weak Hero Class 2' tells the story of Yeon Si-eun, a model student who transfers to Eunjang High School carrying the trauma of failing to protect a friend from violence. Determined not to lose another friend, he faces even greater violence, leading to a harrowing survival story and a brilliant tale of growth. The series will be available on Netflix starting the 25th.
