BLACKPINK's Rosé and Jennie Shine as Solo Artists on Global Music Charts

BLACKPINK members Rosé and Jennie continue to make waves as solo artists in the global music market, each securing spots on the Billboard main charts and engaging in a friendly rivalry.

Rosé has set a new record for the longest-charting K-pop female artist on the Billboard 'HOT 100' with her global mega-hit 'APT.' According to her agency, The Black Label, Rosé's duet with Bruno Mars, 'APT.,' has maintained its position at number 13 on the latest Billboard chart (dated April 26), marking its 26th consecutive week on the chart. This achievement sets a new record for K-pop female artists.

'APT.' is a pre-release track from Rosé's first full-length album 'rosie,' which garnered explosive reactions upon its release in December last year.

Rosé's success has also earned her a spot on TIME magazine's '100 Most Influential People in the World 2025.'

Her debut album 'rosie' was also well-received, debuting at number 3 on the Billboard 200, setting a new record for the highest-ranking K-pop female solo album.

Meanwhile, Jennie is experiencing a resurgence. Her debut solo album 'Ruby' has seen its title track 'like JENNIE' re-enter the chart at number 96, proving her enduring popularity. The track also climbed to number 53 on the UK Official Singles Chart 'TOP 100,' rising 11 spots from the previous week and marking its sixth consecutive week on the chart.

The album 'Ruby' has maintained its presence on the Billboard 200 chart, currently at number 81, for six weeks. Jennie has set a new record for K-pop female solo artists by having six songs on the 'HOT 100.'

Jennie also received acclaim for her solo performances at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, where she was the only K-pop artist to be named in Billboard's 'Hot Performances of Week 1.' Her performance of 'like JENNIE' trended at number 2 worldwide on YouTube and ranked third in trending videos, showcasing her strong impact.

Rosé and Jennie are making their mark beyond K-pop, establishing themselves as formidable solo artists on the global stage. Their ongoing achievements signal a new era for K-pop female solo artists.
