UNIS Achieves First Music Show Win with 'SWICY'
UNIS, the rising K-pop group, has set another milestone.

On the afternoon of the 23rd, UNIS (members: Jin Hyun-joo, Nana, Jelly Danka, Kotoko, Bang Yoon-ha, Elicia, Oh Yoon-ah, and Im Seo-won) clinched their first win on MBC M's 'Show! Champion' with their second mini-album 'SWICY' and its title track of the same name.

Previously, during the showcase for their second mini-album release on the 15th, UNIS expressed their goal of achieving a music show win. They stated, "Last year, we were grateful to receive rookie awards and many accolades, but we have yet to achieve a music show win. It would be amazing to win first place on all music shows during our 'SWICY' promotions."

Their dream came true as UNIS delivered a spicy-sweet performance on 'Show! Champion' and were named the champions. Just a year after their debut, the group was visibly emotional as they accepted their first music show trophy. They expressed heartfelt gratitude, saying, "We are so thankful to CEO Choi Jae-woo and everyone at F&F Entertainment who worked hard for us. We are happy to feel the joy of being number one," and added, "We are also very grateful and love our EverAfter (official fan club name) for giving us this award."

The encore stage turned into a sea of tears as the eight members, overwhelmed with joy, continued to passionately perform 'SWICY', showcasing their fresh rookie spirit.

With this album, UNIS has topped iTunes Top Album charts in 14 countries and made their mark on major domestic music charts like Melon and Bugs. Riding this wave of success, the 'SWICY' music video has also surpassed 12 million views.
