South Korean singer Younha has been named the Artist of the Month.
The recognition comes from a recent poll conducted by the global voting service platform, Top Ten Tenasia, which sought to identify the 'Artist of the Month - April Birthday Edition.'
Younha, born on April 29, 1988, received the most votes among artists with April birthdays, earning her the title of 'Artist of the Month' for April.
Younha made her debut in Japan in 2004 and took her first steps as a singer in South Korea in 2006. She has released several hit songs, including 'Password 486,' 'Waiting,' and 'We Broke Up Today,' solidifying her presence as a solo artist and singer-songwriter. Her song 'Event Horizon,' released in March 2022, gained popularity and became one of her signature tracks.
Last year marked Younha's 20th anniversary since her debut, during which she held 20 solo concerts. She kicked off this year with performances as well, hosting an encore concert titled 'GROWTH THEORY: Final Edition' at the KSPO DOME in Seoul from February 14 to 16.
Recently, Younha announced her marriage to 'Science Cookie,' a popular science YouTuber and former physics teacher, at the end of March.
