BLACKPINK, ‘first artist in the world’ to surpass 90 million subscribers on YouTube

According to YG Entertainment on the 17th, the number of subscribers to Blackpink's YouTube channel exceeded 90 million at 5:36 am on the same day. On June 28, 2016, it has been about 7 years and 1 month since the Blackpink channel was opened.
In particular, from October 2022 when the Seoul concert was held to last June, it attracted about 7 million subscribers, showing the highest increase among K-pop artists during that period.
In July 2020, BLACKPINK was the first non-English speaking artist to be listed in the top 5 YouTube subscribers. Since then, he has overtaken famous pop stars such as Ariana Grande, Eminem, Ed Sheeran, Marshmello, and Justin Bieber in turn, holding the number of subscribers for the number one artist worldwide.
The cumulative number of views on Blackpink's official YouTube channel has exceeded 32.2 billion. The first K-pop group to reach 2.1 billion views, including the music video for 'DDU-DU DDU-DU', 'Kill This Love' (1.8 billion views), 'Boombayah' (1.6 billion views), 'How You Like There are a total of 43 videos with hundreds of millions of views, including that' performance video (1.4 billion views) and 'As If It's Your Last' (1.3 billion views).
