Singer Taeyang revealed a glimpse of his daily life with his wife Min Hyo-rin and son.

In the released video, Taeyang is shown preparing for his comeback for the album 'Down to Earth' released last month. Regarding the album, Taeyang said, "When was it? While on the '2017 WHITE NIGHT' American tour, my friend who was my guitarist at the time looked at me and said, 'You're so down to earth.' So I asked him what kind of expression he used to say that. For example, “These are very humane and humble stories. If translated directly into Korean, they are about coming down to the ground or bowing down to the ground,” he explained.

He continued, "I was very impressed that it was used in that sense. I thought it was a very good expression. I started doing this when I was really young, and from then on, I continued to live with people who were related to me. I came out to society at an early age and quickly made a living. “I think I missed out on a lot of things I needed to learn more about in a world where I had to learn about success,” he added.

Taeyang said, "I learned a lot while I was in the military. So, when I faced every situation completely alone, it was a time when I realized a lot of my shortcomings that I didn't know about. Even if I returned to the world I came from, I thought a lot that I would have to make up for them. Otherwise, I thought a lot about what meaning it would have to me as a person and as a human Dong Young-bae to have achieved so much success with aspects that he lacked. I wanted to put those feelings into this album.”

Regarding the song 'Nightfaill', Taeyang said, "This is the song that contains the most emotions from when I made the album. This beautiful and pretty sunset is not a new morning, but only a dark night. I hoped that a new morning would begin for me too. I thought, 'I hope this sunset is the last.' He also said, "I wrote this album not because I wanted greater glory due to my activities and the many things that followed afterward, but with the thought that if I could unfold the stained glory once again, I would like to unfold it and make it clean. The songs were just starting to come out, and when I was thinking about wanting tracks with a slightly different texture and color, I asked to receive tracks from new producers at The Black Label, and I received a ton of them. Taeyang said, "I thought about it while listening to the song, and I've wanted to write a song like that for a long time. I list a lot of things that I've been inspired by, and I wanted to make a song that tells a story. I think that's what inspiration is. I don't even know where it comes from. “I don’t know, but it clearly exists within me, and I think it has the power to move me and, in a way, make me truly live. Because (inspiration) is real life, it even contains the solemn feeling that even if I die, I can be reborn,” he explained.

Taeyang went for a walk with his wife Min Hyo-rin. He also shared the scenery he saw with Min Hyo-rin. Min Hyo-rin asked, “Is that lilac over there?” Taeyang replied, “Yes. Lilac.” Min Hyo-rin said, "I like lilac. But it's a little stretched out here." Taeyang said, "I don't often let my wife listen to my songs. I'm very honest. And I'm sure it's good and bad. In reality, there are many times when what I say is very true, so I'm reluctant to let my wife listen to my songs when they're not completed properly.
