Seo Dong-ju, daughter of broadcaster Seo Se-won, was saddened by the news of her father's death.

On the 20th, Seo Dong-ju's side told Ten Asia, "Seo Dong-ju is very sad to hear the news," and "We are verifying the facts with his family."

According to a diplomat on this day, Seo Se-won, who settled in Cambodia on business, developed symptoms of shock while receiving an IV at a local hospital in the morning and died of shock from cardiac arrest. It was reported that he was declared dead around 3 PM (Korean time).

Seo Dong-ju is the daughter of Seo Se-won and broadcaster Seo Jeong-hee. Seo Se-won is said to have divorced Seo Jeong-hee by agreement in 2015 and left Korea with her remarried family to carry out missionary activities and projects overseas.
