Lee Hwi-jae breaks up with his agency

Broadcaster Lee Hwi-jae, who has stopped broadcasting and lives in Canada, has parted ways with his agency, Cube Entertainment.

According to Cube Entertainment on the 13th, Lee Hwi-jae's exclusive contract with Cube recently expired. After amicable negotiations, both parties agreed not to renew the contract.

Lee Hwi-jae, who has been busy broadcasting since his debut in 1992, took a break 30 years after his debut last year and went to Canada with his family. Lee Hwi-jae, who debuted as a special comedian at MBC, has been active in 'TV Life Theater', 'Sponge', 'Imagination Plus', 'I Like Sundays - Heroes', 'Vitamin', and 'The Return of Superman'.

In particular, he received a lot of love for appearing in 'The Return of Superman' with his two twin sons, Seo-eon and Seo-jun, and his beautiful wife, Moon Jeong-won. Moon Jeong-won later grew into an influencer and opened a YouTube channel, but suffered from various controversies such as toy 'rip-off' and noise between floors, and had time for self-reflection.

Lee Hwi-jae returned to Korea last January to mourn his mother. Cube said it does not know whether he currently resides in Canada.
