“Tom Cruise is not a part of 16-year-old daughter Suri’s life, blame Scientology”

Page Six reported on the 22nd (local time) that Hollywood star Tom Cruise (60) is unable to meet his daughter Suri (16), whom he had with ex-wife Katie Holmes (44).

The media quoted a source close to Tom Cruise as saying, "We haven't seen 16-year-old Suri for a very long time. Tom Cruise is not a part of Suri's life." Tom Cruise and Holmes had a daughter, Suri, in April 2006, but they have become increasingly distant since their breakup in 2011.

Tom Cruise confessed that Scientology was a key reason for his breakup with Suri. When Tom Cruise was asked if Holmes left him to protect Suri from Scientology, Tom Cruise responded, "That was one of the arguments."

Page Six said, “Scientology is being criticized for its rules prohibiting members from associating with non-believers, which is why Tom and Suri were separated. Tom Cruise said neither his ex-wife Holmes nor their daughter Suri were Scientologists. Because of this, I thought I couldn't form a relationship with either of them.

"This is his loss, this is his problem. He must be so brainwashed," a source told Page Six of Tom Cruise.
