'RCHC' Ahn Jae-wook and So Yu-jin, bakery volunteer work "I hope you have a hearty meal"

The Korean Red Cross (Chairman Shin Hee-young, hereinafter referred to as the Red Cross) held an opening ceremony to mark the start of the new year through a baking volunteer activity at the Central Service Center of the Red Cross Seoul Branch on January 2nd.
About 20 Red Cross executives and employees, including Red Cross Chairman Shin Hee-young and Vice Chairman Yoon Seong-ho, participated in this baking service kick-off ceremony, which started at 10:30 a.m., and delivered 200 loaves of bread they had made to the 'Warm Filling Center', a free soup kitchen near Seoul Station.
In addition, Jae-wook Ahn and Soo-jin Soo, who have consistently participated in sharing activities as public relations ambassadors for the Red Cross, also participated and helped neighbors in need have a warm start to the new year with the Red Cross.
Actors Ahn Jae-wook and Yoo Soo-jin, who participated in the 2023 Red Cross membership fundraising campaign by donating their talent as models and narration promotional materials, are members of the 'Red Cross Honors Club (RCHC)', a group of individual major donors to the Red Cross, and are representative good deed stars in the entertainment industry.
Actor Ahn Jae-wook, who was appointed as a public relations ambassador for the Red Cross in November 2016, is not only involved in relief activities to convey hope to neighbors in crisis, such as donating his talent as a promotional model for the Red Cross fundraising campaign in 2018, sharing bread and rice cake soup, and volunteering to provide meals to victims, in 2020. We have been actively participating in warm sharing practices, such as donating to the Corona disaster relief fund in 2019 and Gangwon-do forest fire relief donations in 2019.
Soo-jin Soo has been working as a public relations ambassador for the Red Cross since June 2019 and has consistently made donations to disaster-vulnerable groups in Korea, including preventing the spread of COVID-19 and recovering from forest fires in Gangwon Province. From 2020 to 2022, he donated his talents as a promotional model for the Red Cross fundraising campaign and video narration for the 2021 patient support fundraising campaign, and has taken the lead in warm sharing activities for the underprivileged in the region, such as baking and rice cake soup sharing volunteer work.
Public Relations Ambassadors Ahn Jae-wook and So Yoo-jin, who attended the volunteer work, expressed their thoughts, saying, “I am happy to be able to start the year 2023 with a meaningful sharing activity,” and added, “I hope that it will be a hearty meal for those who received the bread I made today, and I hope that it will be a hearty meal for those who received the bread we made today. “We will work hard to deliver hope to our neighbors,” he said.
At the opening ceremony on this day, Chairman Shin Hee-young expressed gratitude, saying, “It was the public’s interest and support that allowed us to quickly carry out humanitarian activities to protect lives at disaster sites at home and abroad last year,” and added, “We will overcome the inflection point of the COVID-19 crisis and welcome 2023.” “We may face an even more difficult crisis,” he said, adding, “Let us move forward, keeping in mind the Red Cross humanitarian spirit of respect for human dignity in the face of any crisis,” and expressed his aspiration to realize the sustainable humanitarianism of tomorrow.
