Joo-bin Lee, “I don’t know Da-hye Cheon is a villain”

This photoshoot, conducted under the title 'All Seasons of Lee Joo-bin', is said to have started with the project of looking into the personal side of Lee Joo-bin behind the various characters and flashy images she has played. In fact, in the photos, Lee Joo-bin wears everything from a suit reminiscent of pajamas to a cocktail. She wears a variety of cozy yet elegant outfits, including dresses, creating an image like an ‘empty house on a weekday afternoon.’
It is said that Lee Joo-bin was given a somewhat difficult direction to create a boring feeling while at the same time creating tension suitable for a pictorial, but Lee Joo-bin was able to quickly get an OK cut for each cut, leaving the on-site staff in admiration.

The same goes for the part where he said he didn't know that his character, 'Cheon Da-hye', was a villain. “I put in a lot of effort to become Da-hye, and since it was all my acting, all of Da-hye’s actions and emotions were explained, so I didn’t even think of her as a villain.” So, it was only when I watched the recently aired version that I thought, ‘Oh my gosh, she’s such a bad girl’ and ‘Let’s live a good life, Da-hye’, revealing her quirky side.

Meanwhile, tvN's <Queen of Tears>, in which Lee Joo-bin is appearing, has its final episode this weekend, and you can watch past episodes on Tving and Netflix. She is also scheduled to appear as Detective Han Ji-soo of the cyber investigation team in <Crime City 4>, the most anticipated domestic movie of the first half of the year, which will be released on April 24th.
Lee Joo-bin's full pictorial and interview can be found in the May 2024 issue of <Esquire> and the <Esquire> website, and you can also see the content 'Pin on the Map', which introduces the actor's favorite places, on Esquire's official YouTube channel.
