NewJeans Celebrates Member Danielle's Birthday Amidst Ongoing Legal Dispute
ADOR, the agency behind the K-pop group NewJeans, celebrated member Danielle's birthday through the group's official Instagram account.

On the 11th, NewJeans' Instagram featured a birthday tribute for Danielle, including three captivating photos of her. The post garnered significant attention as it marked Danielle's special day.

Despite recently announcing a hiatus, NewJeans reached out to fans via their self-created SNS channel, mhdhh. The group expressed gratitude, saying, "We received the letters from Bunnies. They moved us to tears." They continued, "Each letter is precious, and we read them daily. The words of comfort, encouragement, and love are deeply felt, making it impossible not to cry."

NewJeans added, "We strive to be people Bunnies can be proud of. Although we're going through tough times, communicating with Bunnies gives us the most strength. We really wanted to talk to Bunnies. The letters you sent are a tremendous source of support."

The group reassured fans, saying, "Many have been worried, but knowing we can meet Bunnies anytime makes it not hard at all." They concluded with optimism, "A time will come when we can all enjoy the songs Bunnies love and find happiness together."

Meanwhile, NewJeans is currently embroiled in a legal battle with their agency, ADOR. Despite the group's claim that their exclusive contract with ADOR was terminated last November, the Seoul Central District Court recently ruled in favor of ADOR, granting an injunction to maintain the agency's status and prohibit the members from signing new advertising contracts. The five members of NewJeans have filed an objection to the court's decision.

Last month, NewJeans announced a "temporary suspension of activities" during their performance at Hong Kong's 'ComplexCon' and have since remained out of the public eye. They have also rebranded their SNS channel from NJZ to mhdhh, reflecting the initials of the members' names. The PR channel, claiming to represent the parents of the five members, has also adopted the mhdhh name.
