JYP Entertainment Warns Against Scam Emails Impersonating Legal Representatives
On the 26th, JYP posted a notice on their official website regarding these fraudulent emails. The company stated, "We are informing you that emails impersonating our legal representatives have been distributed without authorization."
These emails claim 'copyright and intellectual property infringement' and are designed to install malware by enticing recipients to click on attachments. JYP advised, "If you receive such an email, do not click on any attachments or links and delete it immediately."
Finally, JYP emphasized, "We are continuously responding to prevent similar incidents and urge everyone to exercise caution to avoid any damage from these impersonation emails."
