Eun Ga-eun Tops Poll as Most Desired Trot Singer to Encounter at a Park

Eun Ga-eun has been voted as the number one trot singer people would most like to encounter while enjoying a day at the park.

From October 17 to 24, TenAsia conducted a poll asking, 'Which female trot singer would you like to bump into while having a flower viewing at the park?'

Eun Ga-eun claimed the top spot. She recently released a new song, 'I Promise,' after an 11-month hiatus, capturing the sincere emotions of a woman on the brink of marriage. Eun Ga-eun showcased her musical talents by participating in both the lyrics and composition of the song, with her fiancé, singer Park Hyun-ho, also contributing as a co-composer. The couple's wedding is set for November 12, where Park Hyun-ho's close friend, Son Tae-jin, will perform a congratulatory song, drawing significant attention.

Kim Da-hyun secured the second position. Known as the 'Korean Traditional Music Trot Fairy,' she is now captivating audiences as the 'Luck Fairy.' Since October 14, she has been performing the main title song, 'Bringing You Luck,' for KBS 1TV's new daily drama 'Grab the Fortune,' meeting viewers every evening. This song is a reinterpretation of the original by Kang Byung-chul and Samtaegi, released in 1984, and Kim Da-hyun has reimagined it in both dance and disco versions.

Jeon Yu-jin took third place. On the October 15 episode of MBN's 'Current King of Singers,' Park Seo-jin, known for being 'single since birth,' humorously shared dating advice with Jeon Yu-jin, a college freshman. When asked for tips, Park Seo-jin advised, "Be cautious with campus couples (CC). If things don't work out, one might have to take a leave of absence," offering a dose of reality.

Currently, on the Top Ten TenAsia website, polls are being conducted on topics such as 'Which female singer would you like to take a walk with in Daehangno?' and 'Which male trot singer would you like to take a walk with in Daehangno?' among others.
