Actress Lee Shin-young revealed that she is a person born with heaven's fortune to succeed director Jang Hang-jun in 'Let's Sell God's Honey'.

On the morning of the 31st, Lee Shin-young told various stories related to the upcoming movie 'Rebound' (director Jang Hang-jun) at a cafe in Samcheong-dong, Jongno-gu, Seoul.

'Rebound' is a miraculous story of 8 days during the 2012 National High School Basketball Tournament, when a new coach and 6 players of the weakest basketball team that no one paid attention to ran tirelessly. It is based on the true story of Busan Jungang High School's success in the 2012 Korea Basketball Association Long National Middle and High School Basketball Tournament.

For Lee Shin-young, who appeared in the dramas 'Crash Landing on You', 'You and My Police Class', and 'Day and Night', 'Rebound' is her screen debut. In the play, Lee Shin-young plays the role of Ki-beom. Kibum was a genius player who received attention, but he is a guard who has fallen into a slump.

On this day, Lee Shin-young said, "Everyday life is a 'rebound'. It's my first time doing everything. Even while promoting a movie, I'm nervous and excited because it's my first time. I wanted to take on the challenge of making a movie. Since I was young, I was watching movies with my parents, and my mother and father said, 'You're on the screen.' He said, ‘It would be great if my family came out and watched it together.’ This was an opportunity. I was excited and thought a lot about wanting to go to the movies and watch it when I have time.”

Regarding the parents' reaction, "They were so nervous. They said, 'My son needs to come out well.' You know how they feel. I get along with my parents as if they were friends. I communicate with my parents often, and when I talk on the phone for a long time, it lasts for 2 to 3 hours a day. He said, “They’re curious because we’ve been living apart.”

Lee Shin-young said, "I had an audition and meeting for 'Rebound'. Director Jang Hang-jun said it suited the character and that he wanted to see me play basketball. So I made a basketball diary and sent it to the director. You could say it was an appeal. It's a work I don't want to give up, a challenge. “It was something I wanted to do, so I said die,” he explained.

Lee Shin-young will be working consecutively with star writers Park Ji-eun of 'Crash Landing on You' and writer Kim Eun-hee of 'Rebound'. He smiled and said, “I think I am someone who was blessed with the fortune to follow in the footsteps of director Jang Hang-jun. I am lucky. This is an opportunity that does not come easily, but it is an honor to be able to work with a famous writer.”

In addition, Lee Shin-young said, "Rather than being impressed when I heard that writer Kim Eun-hee wrote 'Rebound', I didn't believe that it was a true story. I was curious about whether this was a true story, so I searched a lot. When I searched, I found that it was a true story that was adapted to make it realistic. “It seems like it,” he said.

Meanwhile, 'Rebound' starring Lee Shin-young will be released on April 5.
