Eun-chae Jeong, a bodhisattva supporting civil service exam student Dong-hwi Lee

On the 10th, distribution company SMC Film Co., Ltd. released a still of Jung Eun-chae in 'Maybe We Broke Up.' ‘Maybe We Broke Up’ is a real-life breakup report by Lee Dong-hwi and Jeong Eun-chae that depicts the process of a loved one becoming a stranger.
In the play, Jeong Eun-chae plays Ah-yeong, a promising art student who gives up her dreams and becomes a real estate agent for her boyfriend Jun-ho (played by Lee Dong-hwi), who is preparing for the civil service exam.
Director Hyeong Seul-woo expressed his unique emotions at realizing his dream casting by saying, “Actress Jeong Eun-chae has always been my dream actress.” Jeong Eun-chae revealed the reason for her decision to appear, saying, “The realistic scenario in which characters of similar age struggle and face challenges was attractive.”

He also expressed his affection for Lee Dong-hwi, his longtime lover, saying, "He is always full of ideas and passionate, and I felt he was the only actor who could make Jun-ho a humane character who is not hateful."
In the released stills, Jung Eun-chae stands out for her simple and comfortable appearance, which is different from the extravagance she has recently shown. While talking with friends, the smiling face that appears to be lost in one's own thoughts for a moment raises curiosity about who the person is.
Another still shows him sitting alone on the veranda door with a tired expression. The full story, which will resonate with men and women these days, can be seen on the screen as to what worries Ayoung is facing as she approaches the end of her relationship and the beginning of her breakup.
Meanwhile, 'Maybe We Broke Up' will be released in theaters in February.
