'Negotiation' presents sound that doubles the sense of immersion through Dolby Atmos, which accurately arranges the movement of sound in three-dimensional space. The film is expected to provide an overwhelming cinematic experience by adding Dolby Atmos sound to the scenes of characters struggling through unpredictable tension, from a kidnapping incident in Afghanistan to the rescue process of hostages.
In particular, the spatial sound that fills the three-dimensional space, including the space above the head, which is one of the main features of Dolby Atmos, will vividly convey to the audience the tension of not knowing where a bomb will explode in the play.
In this way, the behind-the-scenes details of the production team are hidden in 'Negotiation', which captures the reality of Afghanistan, a land of chaos for the first time in a movie. We tried to select various sounds in Jordan in a situation where filming permission was not easy, but the fact that the languages of Afghanistan and Jordan were different was a challenge that the production team had to overcome.
The production team had a difficult time recruiting a local recording team to capture the sounds of Afghanistan, which is in the midst of a civil war and is not allowed to enter the country after Crank Up. Rumor has it that he completed the first Korean film to be recorded.
The hard work of the local recording team, who had to carry out all work in secret, can be said to be the greatest contributor to realizing the film's realistic sound. Afghanistan in the movie, which was completed through the production team's efforts reminiscent of a negotiation operation, maximizes immersion with the addition of the realistic sound of Dolby Atmos, and is expected to provide an overwhelming experience unique to 'Negotiation'.
