‘Avatar: Path of Water’ surpasses ‘Jurassic World’ and ranks 7th of all time

The movie 'Avatar: Waterways' maintained its top spot at the box office even in its fourth week of release, recording a global box office haul of $1.7 billion (approximately KRW 2.1236 trillion).

According to the Youngjin Committee's integrated movie ticket network on the 9th, 'Avatar: The Road of Water' attracted a cumulative number of 8,776,655 viewers as of the 8th. Since its release on December 14 last year, it has maintained its first place at the box office.

In addition, according to Box Office Mojo, 'Avatar: Path of Water' not only ranked first in the North American box office by adding $45 million (approximately KRW 56.2 billion) in weekend box office revenue in the fourth week of its release, but also recorded a cumulative North American box office gross of 516.78 billion won. It is showing tremendous power by collecting $10,000 (approximately KRW 645.9 billion) in global box office revenue and a total of $1,708.08 million (approximately KRW 2,134.8 billion) in global box office revenue.

'Avatar: Path of Water' surpassed $1,708.08 million in cumulative global box office revenue, surpassing 'Jurassic World' ($1,671.53 million, approximately KRW 2.0887 trillion), which previously ranked 7th, and becoming the world's largest box office hit of all time. Office ranked 7th.

Meanwhile, 'Avatar: Path of Water' is a story about the merciless threats that Jake Sully and Neytiri's family face on the planet Pandora, the long journey and battle they must embark on to survive, and the wounds they must endure.
