According to the Korean Film Council's integrated computer network on the 5th, 'The First Slam Dunk' (directed by Takehiko Inoue) ranked second in the daily box office, attracting 62,084 viewers on the 4th, the day of its release.

‘The First Slam Dunk’ is a movie depicting the dreams, passion, and never-ending challenges of the five members of the Buksan High School basketball team who dream of winning the national championship. This work is a new theatrical version 26 years after the series was serialized, with original author Takehiko Inoue directly participating in the writing and directing. The perspective was expanded to include Song Tae-seop, rather than Kang Baek-ho, as the main character.

'The First Slam Dunk' received positive reviews even before its release and has been highly anticipated by enthusiasts, and it proved its potential by mobilizing a large number of audiences on the day of its release.

'Avatar: Path of Water' (directed by James Cameron) firmly maintained its first place in the box office, attracting 91,611 viewers. The cumulative number of viewers was 8,093,547 after 22 days of release.

'Avatar 2' is a sequel to director James Cameron 13 years after the previous film 'Avatar', and tells the story of the merciless threat faced by the family of 'Jake Sully' and 'Neytiri' on the planet Pandora and the long journey they must embark on to survive.
