'Hawkeye' Jeremy Renner suffered accident while helping driver stranded in heavy snow
The reason why Hollywood actor Jeremy Renner (51) suffered a heavy snow accident was revealed.

CNN reported on the 3rd (local time) that Renner had an accident while clearing snow with a snowplow to help drivers trapped on the road due to heavy snow.

Renner's friend Hilary Sieb, mayor of Reno, Nevada, testified, "At the time of the accident, Renner was helping someone stranded in the snow. He always helps others."

Renner's representative said that Renner stayed at a vacation home near Reno with his family on New Year's Day when there was heavy snow and was involved in an accident while clearing snow with a snowplow. At the time of the accident, 15 to 30 cm of snow fell in the Reno area, and some areas reportedly recorded up to 45 cm of snow.

Renner, who suffered serious chest injuries in the snowplow accident, was transported to the hospital by helicopter and underwent surgery. Renner is currently recovering in the hospital's intensive care unit after undergoing another surgery. His family is currently taking care of him.

Currently, the United States is experiencing natural disasters, with many victims due to extreme cold and heavy snow. In particular, this phenomenon became noticeable around Christmas last year, and its effects continue to this day.

Meanwhile, Renner, who debuted in 1995, became known through the movie 'The Hurt Locker' (2009). In Korea, he is famous for his role as Hawkeye in the popular foreign film ‘Avengers’ series.
