'Noryang: Deadly Sea', a fierce naval battle filmed without a drop of water?

'Noryang: Deadly Sea' is a war action masterpiece depicting Admiral Yi Sun-sin's final battle to completely annihilate the Japanese army trying to retreat from Joseon, seven years after the outbreak of the Japanese Invasion of Korea.
The movie 'Noryang: Deadly Sea' is a film made by the original production crews of 'Noryang' and 'Hansan: The Rise of the Dragon'. Above all, the production team, who had experienced difficulties filming on the actual sea in 'Myeongryang', evolved the cutting-edge filming system introduced from 'Hansan: Appearance of the Dragon' and applied it to 'Noryang: Deadly Sea'.

The movie production team mobilized equipment that can actually climb on top of the Panokseon and a large crew of actors to create fierce battle scenes on top of it. Pre-visuals were created in advance through animation work before filming, and film was created to capture every detail of the battle scene. It was said that camera movement rehearsals were also added to improve the perfection of the production.
In this way, the naval battle production completed in a space without a drop of water has already received great reviews from audiences in 'Hansan: Appearance of the Dragon', and the naval battle production has received a great response. In particular, in this 'Noryang: Deadly Sea', you can see not only long-distance battles, but also close-quarters artillery battles, and various weapons and combat methods, raising even more expectations.
Director Kim Han-min, who was in charge of directing the film, said, "Korean film filming techniques have changed a lot between 2013 when 'Roaring Currents' was filmed and 10 years later. I think technology will likely continue to develop in works related to water in the future." He expressed his feelings.
It will be released on December 20th.
