Director Choi Dong-hoon met with Ten Asia at a cafe in Samcheong-dong, Jongno-gu, Seoul on the morning of the 5th and spoke about the movie in an interview related to the second part of the movie 'Alienoid' (Director Choi Dong-hoon).

First, Director Choi commented on Ryu Jun-yeol as “a very smart actor.” “He jumped right in and knew what I was trying to do without me having to explain it in words. The action was superb, but I liked the way he thought about Muruk’s character. Is he really a talented Taoist, or does he know he has no talent? “I asked him if he was a Taoist. He is a friend who thinks about such things, finds answers to those concerns, and then acts.”
As for Tae-ri Kim, I thought there was something there about her after watching the movie ‘The Handmaiden’ (directed by Chan-wook Park). Director Choi said, “I thought, ‘There’s something there.’ That’s why I was very curious. But he doesn’t drink much and is a bit shy,” and added, “But I was glad to hear that he was willing to do this work.”
“Anyway, we need to know what kind of person this person is, and what kind of person Kim Tae-ri is is that even after filming was over, she didn’t go away. She didn’t even change her costume, and just sat next to the camera, amazed and curious. I had a lot of questions about the movie in general. . While filming 'Alienoid', Ian (Kim Tae-ri) had the most questions. I always liked the way he asked questions."
