Ahn Hyo-seop Joins Netflix's 'KPop Demon Hunters' as Voice Actor

Actor Ahn Hyo-seop is set to lend his voice to Netflix's global animated film 'KPop Demon Hunters'.

'KPop Demon Hunters' is a hybrid action musical animation that follows popular K-POP girl group members who lead a double life as demon hunters offstage.

This film combines dazzling performances, deep emotional narratives, and supernatural thrills, exploring the balance of identity and emotions of the current generation through the cultural lens of K-POP. It is recognized as a symbolic example of how K-POP has evolved from a genre to a central element in designing the 'structure' of global content.

Ahn Hyo-seop will voice the character Jin-woo, the charismatic and captivating male lead and leader of a boy group. As a Canadian national, Ahn will deliver all his lines in English, showcasing a new dimension of K-actors.

'KPop Demon Hunters' is a Netflix film produced by Sony Pictures Animation, known for global hits like 'Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse'. The film is directed by Korean-American director Maggie Kang and Chris Appelhans of 'Wish Dragon'.
