'2023 SS Collection' is a new album released by Kim Sung-kyu in about 7 months since the special single 'Dear my fan' to commemorate the 10th anniversary of his solo debut released in November last year.

Regarding the current situation, Kim Seong-gyu said, "Recently, I had a musical performance. Last week I had a concert in Hong Kong. I also had a solo concert in Korea. I was busy preparing for broadcasts and albums." He continued, "The happiest time is when I'm having a concert or singing my songs. In that sense, I was happy and happy. It was my first solo concert in Hong Kong, so I was happier and more enjoyable.

Kim Seong-gyu said that he tried changing the solo activity this time to a light and exciting atmosphere. Kim Seong-gyu said, "I've been working on an album since last year," and "I had a title that I thought of, but I wanted to try a song that was fun and suitable for summer. When I release a lot of albums, I worry every time, 'what new thing should I do?'. Over the past 13 years, many I've done a lot of things, so I prepared while thinking about what to try this time. When asked to explain 'Small Talk' in one word, Sungkyu Kim introduced it as an "exciting song." Also, "It's an upbeat song.
