'Debut 15th anniversary' U-Kiss, 'I want to go!'

Celebrating the 15th anniversary of their debut, the members of UKISS revealed both the excitement of the comeback and the regret of not being able to become a complete group at the same time.

On the 28th, a showcase commemorating the release of U-Kiss' mini-album 'PLAY LIST' was held at Ilchi Art Hall in Cheongdam-dong, Seoul. U-Kiss members Suhyeon, Hoon, Kiseop, Alexander, AJ (Siyoon), and Eli attended.

U-Kiss, who made a comeback after 5 years and 6 months, showed their trembling hearts. Suhyeon said, "I'm nervous. This is the second showcase I've been promoting as U-Kiss for 15 years. It feels like a dream. I've always longed for U-Kiss activities and wanted to be with the members. I think the members feel the same way. 15th anniversary As much as I returned to 'Playlist', I want to show a lot of good things with the heart and spirit of a rookie."

AJ explained, "I graduated from university, which was my life's homework. I worked as a singer-songwriter and then worked at a financial company. I was contacted by the members and decided to join the 15th anniversary project."

Hoon said, "I've been very busy. I think it started when my contract with the previous company ended and I signed a contract with the current company. As the company ended, I thought about giving up, but Suhyeon and Kiseop reached out to me, so I did it again. It's meaningful. The company listened to what I wanted to say. I lost 10kg after dancing for the first time in a while. I tried to dance with a sleek look."

When asked about a memorable moment while promoting, Alexander replied, “The moment we all gathered together for the 15th anniversary project is memorable. AJ laughed, saying, “I opened the door and it was silent for three seconds.” Hoon expressed affection, saying, "The moments I spent with the members and fans who have been active for 15 years are memorable. Because I had the will to protect U-Kiss, I was able to come together again and do the 15th anniversary project."

It's been a long time since I've met and I've been worried a lot. Kiseop revealed his goal, "All of the album names and song titles have been strong. When I think of U-Kiss, I want to hear the word 'Summer King'. When I think of summer, I want to think of U-Kiss songs and listen to them."

U-Kiss debuted as a 10-member group, but this mini-album 'PLAY LIST' will promote as a 6-member group. Suhyeon expressed excitement and regret at the same time, saying, "I met other members for the project. There are many members who could not be together in terms of time and reality.

Suhyun said, "I met all the members. When we talked, the reaction was positive. The rest of the members also expressed their desire to be together. I'm active. Jun is active in movies and dramas. I haven't been able to contact the other member, Ki-bum. I want to say 'I miss you'" and burst into laughter.

Introducing the mini-album 'PLAY LIST', Suhyun said, "I think the public will think, 'U-Kiss is back.' It's a trendy interpretation of the 90's house pop genre. I think it's a song that anyone can comfortably listen to. It seems to be a song that fits the keyword well. It's a song that makes you want to forget your worries or worries for a while and go somewhere. It's a song that you can listen to comfortably in line with the summer vacation season," he explained. Next, Hoon added, "We prepared 6 songs with meaning for the 6 members who participated this time. I hope all listeners can be satisfied while listening to the music."

U-Kiss's 'Manmanani' is a breath-taking song, and many people are listening to it. When asked about the addictive point of the album's title song, 'I want to go!', Suhyun explained, "'I want to go!' is easy for anyone to sing along to. The choreography also has many points." Alexander burst out laughing when he said, "Compared to 'You're Easy', 'I'm Going!' is an easy song to listen to. I can say 'I want to go home!' indirectly to my boss at the company."

The b-side song 'Dear. Ki-seop, who composed Mom' (Dear Mom), said, "I wanted to give a present to the mother who lives for her children. I put words in the lyrics that I couldn't normally say. This song is dedicated to the mothers of the 6 members who are eternal fans of U-Kiss." He explained about his own song.

When asked what kind of mindset he will take on U-Kiss, the representative idol of the 2nd generation, Hoon said, "I have gone through all the hardships. Based on that, I think I will be able to pour all my experiences on stage." Infinite, which was active around the same time, is also preparing for a comeback. AJ commented, "It's an honor. Rather than a confrontational composition, I hope you see them as colleagues who enjoyed that era."

The title song 'I'm going! (The Wonderful Escape)' is a retro yet addictive house pop song. It contains a message of consolation to the tired modern people to forget everything and leave together, even for this moment.

U-Kiss' new album starts with 'Party Tonight' to forget everything and dance, followed by 'My Favorite', which shows the developed musical color of U-Kiss with a funky yet groovy rhythm, and cheers in city pop style music. 'It's Okay (The Way You Are)', a song written by Kiseop, expressing his gratitude towards his parents, 'Dear. It contains songs of various genres, from 'Mom' (Dear Mom) to 'Memories', a heartfelt fan song for the fan club 'Kiss Me'.

The mini-album 'PLAY LIST' was released on the 28th at 6pm.
