Singer Yena Choi recalled her first meeting with (G)I-DLE's Yugi, who participated in the new song.

The title song 'Hate Rodrigo' is a song that expresses the cute jealousy of 'I hate all the kids who are better than me!' Choi Ye-na participated in writing and composing the lyrics herself, clarifying her own color, and (G)I-DLE's Yuqi featured in the song, demonstrating a bouncing synergy.

On this day, Choi Ye-na commented on her relationship with Yuki, "The opportunity to meet Yuki is special. We met for the first time at ISAC, and I knew that we were similar. We communicated well and our musical styles matched well."
