Fifty Fifty's agency, Attract (CEO Jeon Hong-joon), revealed that an outsourcing service company and Warner Music Korea were involved behind the recent attempted extortion of members by outside forces.

On the 26th, Attract said, "We sent a certificate of contents to Warner Music Korea. This is because we found a situation where an outsourcing company approached Warner Music Korea and offered to sell Attract's girl group Fifty Fifty." told An official from Attract said, "We have already captured substantial evidence of an apparent attempt to illegally extort Fifty Fifty members."

On the 23rd, Attract claimed that outside forces had approached Fifty Fifty through an official statement. Attract said, "External forces have been identified that approach our artists and entice them to violate their exclusive contracts with us." They are committing an illegal act by inducing their artists to sign contracts with them, ignoring valid exclusive contracts by making a wrong judgment."

Fifty Fifty, a 4-member group that debuted in November of last year, surprised the domestic music industry with a 'surprising achievement' that reached the Billboard's main single chart 'Billboard Hot 100' in 4 months of debut through 'Cupid'. As of the 24th, 'Cupid' ranked 24th on the 'Billboard Hot 100', breaking the record for the longest entry by a K-pop girl group with a 13-week chart-in. They also entered the UK's 'Official Singles Chart Top 100' for 13 consecutive weeks, rewriting a new record for a K-pop girl group. In Korea, they ranked first on the circle chart "Global K-Pop Chart" for six weeks in a row, and also ranked first on "Social Chart 2.0," which combines the popularity of each social media, proving their popularity.

In May, member Aran of Fifty Fifty took a break from activities due to health reasons. Regarding this, Attract said, "There were many fans who were curious about the lack of group activities at a time when they were supposed to be active. One member had medical symptoms and underwent surgery on May 2nd. According to the doctor's diagnosis, I am taking a break."
