'Hive Rookie' Boy Next Door, Little Title Activity with 'Serenade'
Boy Next Door (Seongho, Liu, Myung Jaehyun, Taesan, Lee Han, Unhak) will appear on music shows this week with the third track 'Serenade' of their debut single 'WHO!' released on the 30th of last month. Starting with Mnet's 'M Countdown' on the 22nd, the song will be performed on KBS 2TV's 'Music Bank' on the 23rd, and SBS' 'Inkigayo' on the 25th.
The 'Serenade' broadcast activity was in response to fans' requests. BOY NEXT DOOR has been promoting 'I'll Go Back' and 'One and Only' among the triple title songs of this single. In response to the fans' response that they wanted to see the lovely performance of 'Serenade' on air, KOZ Entertainment, the agency, decided to do a surprise activity for a week as a way to repay the fans.
'Serenade' is a medium-tempo pop song with unique vocals. It may be a bit clumsy, but it is Boy Next Door's first serenade that boldly brings out the fresh sincerity. Myung Jae-hyun, Tae-san, and Un-hak participated in writing the lyrics, completing lyrics that would be sympathetic to peers experiencing unrequited love.
The performance full of loveliness is the highlight of this song. The choreography, which seems to be a serenade by putting your hands together in line with the lyrics “I love you baby baby baby”, doubles the refreshing charm. “I like you!”, “Just do it!” It is also interesting that Chu Im-sae, who encourages his back, is expressed with fresh movements.
Boy Next Door set the record for the most album sales in the first week (based on the release date) among debut teams this year.
