BTS's Jin and Japanese Actor Yutaka Matsushige Share a Memorable Spa Experience

BTS member Jin recently had a memorable encounter with Yutaka Matsushige, the renowned Japanese actor and director known for his role in the popular drama 'Solitary Gourmet.' This exciting meeting took place on the 26th episode of BTS's YouTube variety show 'Run BTS,' which aired on October 18 at 9 PM.

In this episode, Jin, along with Matsushige and TV personality Kangnam, embarked on a journey to explore a traditional Korean sauna. Jin, showcasing his expertise, guided Matsushige, who was visiting a Korean sauna for the first time, on how to make the iconic 'sheep head' towel and introduced him to popular snack bar items.

Jin's warm and friendly demeanor brought genuine laughter from Matsushige. Sharing his own experiences with Japanese hot springs, Jin created a relaxed atmosphere and demonstrated how to crack a baked egg on one's head, fulfilling his role as a perfect host. Matsushige was captivated by Jin's introductions, expressing delight over the taste of 'sikhye' and the refreshing cold noodles enjoyed after the sauna.

The two stars had such a great time that they promised to meet again. Matsushige expressed his enjoyment, saying, "It was such a fun experience that I almost forgot why I came to Korea." Jin responded, "It was an honor to spend time with a star I've seen so often on TV. I hope we can film together again if the opportunity arises."

Meanwhile, the next episode of 'Run BTS' will feature a fencing challenge with Oh Sang-wook, the 2024 Paris Olympic gold medalist in fencing. Fans can look forward to seeing Jin's stunning visuals and fencing skills in episode 27, which will be released on October 25 at 9 PM on BTS's YouTube channel and an hour later on the global fan platform Weverse.
