K-pop sensation Jeong Dong-won's second studio album, 'Gift of the Tall Man,' has achieved remarkable success, surpassing 150,000 copies sold in its first week.

According to Hanteo Chart, a leading South Korean music sales tracker, the album, released on March 13, reached this milestone by March 19. This achievement marks another milestone for Jeong Dong-won, who previously earned the 'Hanteo Bronze' title for selling over 100,000 copies with his first studio album 'Longing, The Giving Tree' and his 2023 mini-album 'Collection Vol.1.' At just 18 years old, Jeong Dong-won is the youngest solo artist to achieve this honor three times, showcasing his growing influence and talent in the music industry.

'Gift of the Tall Man' is Jeong Dong-won's first full-length album in three years, following his 2021 release 'Longing, The Giving Tree.' Inspired by the novel 'Daddy-Long-Legs,' the album conveys themes of love, hope, and mutual support between Jeong Dong-won and his fans, likening their relationship to that of the novel's titular character.

The album features 14 tracks, including the double title tracks 'Heung!' and 'Flower Lantern,' showcasing a diverse range of genres from trot and ballads to upbeat dance tracks, highlighting Jeong Dong-won's expanding musical repertoire.

In addition to his album success, Jeong Dong-won is set to embark on a nationwide tour, starting with performances at the Olympic Hall in Seoul from March 28 to 30.
