BLACKPINK's Rosé Earns Dual Nominations at 2025 American Music Awards
BLACKPINK's Rosé has solidified her global status by securing nominations in two categories at the prestigious 2025 American Music Awards (AMAs), one of the world's top three music award ceremonies.

According to the AMAs official website on the 23rd (local time), Rosé is nominated for 'Collaboration of the Year' for her single 'Apartment (APT.)' in collaboration with American pop star Bruno Mars. This category features fierce competition with entries from global artists such as Kendrick Lamar & SZA, Lady Gaga & Bruno Mars, and Post Malone & Taylor Swift.

Additionally, Rosé is also nominated in the 'Favorite K-Pop Artist' category, alongside BTS's RM and Jimin, Stray Kids, and ATEEZ. This category, dedicated to K-pop, was introduced in 2022, and Rosé is the only K-pop artist this year to be nominated in two categories simultaneously.

Released in October last year, Rosé's single 'Apartment' captivated audiences worldwide with its catchy chorus and Bruno Mars's signature groovy vocals. The track made history by staying on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart for an impressive 26 consecutive weeks, setting a new record for a K-pop female solo artist.

The American Music Awards select nominees based on fan-driven data, including streaming, album and single sales, radio airplay, and tour revenue.

The 2025 AMAs will take place on May 26th (local time) in Las Vegas, USA.
