G-Dragon's 'Good Day 2025' Tops Music Charts, Proving His Musical Prowess Once Again

G-Dragon's latest project track 'Good Day 2025' has soared to the top of the music charts, showcasing his prowess as a producer.

Released on the 24th at 6 PM, 'Good Day 2025 (Telepathy + Moonlight at the Window)' debuted at number 3 on Melon HOT100 and quickly climbed to the top spot. It also secured the 2nd position on Genie, 1st on Vibe's domestic rising chart, and 4th on Bugs, dominating major charts and proving to be a hit. Despite being a remake, it follows the success of G-Dragon's previous single 'TOO BAD (feat. Anderson .Paak)', reaffirming his influence in the music scene.

The 'Good Day' project was initiated by G-Dragon, who expressed his desire to use the power of music for good causes. This vision was shared by producer Kim Tae-ho, leading to the project's creation. The star-studded lineup includes actor Hwang Jung-min, singers Taeyang, CL, Im Si-wan, Lee Soo-hyuk, Kim Go-eun, groups DAY6 and aespa, BSS, and entertainers Jo Se-ho, Hong Jin-kyung, Kian84, Jung Hyung-don, rapper Defconn, and producer Code Kunst, among others.

G-Dragon reimagined the songs 'Telepathy' and 'Moonlight at the Window' by Dosi Kids into a 2025 version, creating a track that bridges generations. He skillfully arranged the members' voices into each part, and during the recording with Jung Hyung-don, he combined humor with production to enhance the track's quality. The climax features Hwang Jung-min's powerful high notes, adding emotion, while Taeyang's signature high notes anchor the song.

The music video, released alongside the track, evokes nostalgia with its VHS-style color grading and subtitles reminiscent of 90s tape culture. Within 14 hours of release, it climbed to the 2nd spot on YouTube's trending music list.

A portion of the project's proceeds will be donated to social causes. Production company TEO has already contributed to wildfire recovery efforts and plans to continue supporting underprivileged children and youth.

Meanwhile, G-Dragon is set to embark on his third world tour, 'G-Dragon 2025 WORLD TOUR Übermensch,' starting at the Tokyo Dome on November 10th.
