K-Pop Band LUCY Makes Waves on Music Charts with New Release

K-pop band LUCY has made a significant impact on major music charts in South Korea with their latest release.

On October 23, LUCY released their sixth mini-album 'Wajangchang,' and all tracks from the album immediately charted on Melon's HOT 100 (within 30 days of release/within 100 days of release). The double title tracks 'Wake Up' and 'Hippo' secured the 6th and 7th spots on the HOT 100 (within 30 days of release), respectively.

The track 'Hippo' has been receiving praise from listeners both domestically and internationally. Known for its witty FX sound, 'Hippo' offers a delightful twist with its catchy melody and lyrics that are hard to forget.

With the release of LUCY's new album, their debut song 'Flowering' is also gaining renewed attention. 'Flowering' has been re-entering the Circle Chart's streaming chart for four consecutive weeks, hinting at a resurgence in popularity.

LUCY is set to meet their fans at their seventh solo concert 'Wajangchang,' which will be held from May 2 to 4 at the Hwajeong Gymnasium at Korea University in Seoul's Seongbuk District.
