Director Jeong Ji-hyun "'The Glory' Lim Ji-yeon's popularity, half-joking and half-serious saying 'Let's see the virtue'"
On the afternoon of the 19th, a production presentation for Genie TV's original drama 'House with a Yard' was held at Stanford Hotel Korea in Mapo-gu, Seoul. Actors Kim Tae-hee, Lim Ji-yeon, Kim Seong-oh, Choi Jae-rim, and director Jung Ji-hyun attended the event.
Based on the bestseller of the same name, 'House with a Yard' is a suspense thriller about two women living completely different lives due to a strange smell coming from the backyard. This is a new work by director Jung Ji-hyun, who directed the dramas 'Enter a search term WWW' and 'Twenty Five Twenty One'.
In the play, Lim Ji-yeon plays Sang-eun. Sang-eun is a woman who dreams of escaping from a pitiful reality. Lim Ji-yeon, who played the role of school violence perpetrator Yeon-jin in the Netflix series 'The Glory', becomes a victim of domestic violence.
On this day, director Jung Ji-hyun called Lim Ji-yeon Park Yeon-jin, who played in the Netflix series 'The Glory', and made people laugh. He said, "Actress Lim Ji-yeon remembers delivering the script before 'The Glory' was released. When I delivered this script to this actress, it was before the release of 'The Glory'."
He added, "I thought a lot. I received a lot of recommendations (about Lim Ji-yeon from people around me). Since I belong to Hwa & Dam, I received a lot of recommendations. I delivered the script without a doubt. Fortunately, he chose the script."
