"The top of the box office road" Ji Chang-wook and Shin Hye-sun enter JTBC with 'Welcome to Samdali'
Actors Ji Chang-wook and Shin Hye-sun confirmed their appearances in JTBC's first drama 'Welcome to Samdali'.

On the 19th, JTBC's 'Welcome to Samdali' reported the same news. 'Welcome to Samdali' tells the story of Yongpil (played by Ji Chang-wook), a dragon who cherished Gaecheon, and Samdal (played by Shin Hye-seon), a dragon who left Gaecheon and ascended to heaven in a cool way. draw

Director Cha Young-hoon, who directed the dramas 'When the Camellia Blooms' and 'Meteorological Administration People: Cruel Company Relationships', and writer Kwon Hye-joo of the dramas 'Confession Couple' and 'Hi Bye, Mama!' collaborated for the first time through 'Welcome to Samdali'.

Ji Chang-wook plays Cho Yong-pil, a forecaster at the Jeju Meteorological Administration. Yong-pil is a famous figure who is out of control even in the headquarters. It is because he is a person who always presents objections to the weather forecast issued by the main office and argues with the head of the Korea Meteorological Administration if he does not want to. After losing her mother who was a haenyeo due to an incorrect weather report, she dreamed of becoming a forecaster. Today, she is doing her best to protect her precious uncles (Jeju-style address for adults regardless of gender) in Jeju Island, which she cherishes and loves with all her heart, especially in her hometown of Samdali.

Shin Hye-sun plays famous photographer Jo Eun-hye, no, Jo Sam-dal. Samdal, who dreamed of growing up quickly and leaving the island from a young age, escaped to Seoul and, under the stage name Jo Eun-hye, worked as an assistant in the fashion photography industry for 8 years and rose to the top. However, the tower built with so much effort over such a long time collapses too easily in an instant due to some incident. In the end, he returns to Gaecheon, where he dreamed of ascending and still calls her Samdal.

Born and raised in Samdali in the same year, they always stuck together, so they spent more days together than days when they didn't have each other in their lives. However, it has been many years since we stopped contacting each other to find out what the story was. However, as the three months return to the hometown that Yongpil cherished, these partners will experience how warm and heart-throbbing the affection and love that have been accumulated for a long time without knowing or not knowing can be.

The production team said, "We sincerely welcome the entry of Ji Chang-wook and Shin Hye-seon, Rocco artisans who believe and see that they will show optimized acting for the role of Samdali's famous partner Yongpil and Samdal. I expect it to peak on the road," he said.

"'Welcome to Samdali' is a drama in which director Cha Young-hoon and writer Kwon Hye-joo's special talents are concentrated. In a world where there is no time to wake up, how can I understand the ripples I originally walked through, the value of things I lost in the past, and the countless relationships that passed by? I will visit you in the second half of this year as a work that will make you think about whether it is precious."

'Welcome to Samdali' is scheduled to air in the second half of this year.
