Lee Sung-kyung, 'Master Kim 3', 'Senior Mode' after 3 years at Doldam Hospital
SBS' new Friday-Saturday drama 'Romantic Doctor Teacher Kim 3' is a drama depicting the story of a 'real doctor' taking place in a shabby local Doldam Hospital. It is a mega-hit drama on SBS that recorded the highest viewership rating of 27% in both Season 1, which aired in 2016, and Season 2, which aired in 2020, and is attracting attention with the news of its comeback in Season 3 after 3 years.
Season 3 will depict the story of Doldam Hospital three years later. Among them, season 3 still cuts showing Lee Sung-kyung's 'doctor force' as Cha Eun-jae, season 2's 'icon of growth', were released.
In the play, Cha Eun-jae is a character who has been on the elite course with the praise and expectations of those around her, but spent time wandering due to surgery anxiety. Cha Eun-jae, who was chased down to Doldam Hospital, met her life teacher, Master Kim (played by Han Seok-gyu), overcame her anxiety about surgery and showed herself becoming a real doctor. Lee Sung-kyung received favorable reviews for her immersive portrayal of Cha Eun-jae's wandering and growth, which was like a self-portrait of youth in this era.
In the released photo, Cha Eun-jae's appearance, which has grown even more over the past three years, attracts attention. Cha Eun-jae will become an indispensable surgeon in the CS (thoracic surgery) department and will also welcome juniors. Cha Eun-jae's sharp expression and eyes in 'senior mode' stimulate curiosity about what new appearance she will show. Also, the way she carefully gives first aid to a patient raises expectations about how much Cha Eun-jae has grown as a doctor.

In addition to the synergy between director Yoo In-sik and writer Kang Eun-kyung, who teamed up for the third time following seasons 1 and 2, 'Romantic Doctor Teacher Kim 3' also features Han Seok-gyu, Ahn Hyo-seop, Lee Sung-kyung, Kim Min-jae, Jin Kyung, Im Won-hee, and Byeon Woo-min, all joining for season 2. It foretold the powerful teamwork of Doldamz. It will be broadcast for the first time at 10 pm on April 28th as a follow-up to 'Model Taxi 2'.
