Cho Seung-woo requests paternity confirmation amid suspicion of 'wife assault'
Cho Seung-woo hit the nail on the head with a question that penetrated the essence of the 'Dintihwa incident'.

In the 8th episode of JTBC's Saturday-Sunday drama 'Sacred, Divorce', which aired on the 26th, a full-scale head-to-head battle with Geumhwa Law Firm was depicted. Geumhwa Law Firm's aim was to put Shin Seong (played by Cho Seung-woo) in trouble, and Shin Seong's skillful defense, skillfully avoiding them and delving into the core, gave a thrilling pleasure.

The broadcast on this day began with an anecdote from Shin Shin, who appeared on a radio broadcast as a 'piano-playing lawyer' in order to draw attention to the case of his client Ma Chun-seok (played by Choi Jae-seop) , also known as the 'Din Tihwa incident', which became a social issue. As the protagonist of a video that heated up the Internet, attention was quickly focused on Shin Seong, but when words got out that he was defending Din Tihwa's husband, Ma Chun-seok (played by Choi Jae-seop), he was labeled a 'gwanjong (short for a person of interest).'

In this way, Shin Seong's client, Ma Chun-seok, is receiving a lot of criticism for becoming a portrait of the problem of domestic violence against immigrant women, as planned by Geumhwa Law Firm. Therefore, it was necessary to prepare for litigation more meticulously than ever. This was the same for Park Yoo-seok (played by Jeon Bae-soo), the lawyer in charge of the opposing party, Din Tihwa.

According to Dintihwa, Ma Chun-seok got angry when his wife asked for a divorce and said she would return to her home country with the baby, and when he returned home a few days later, he ended up being violent and injuring his arm. However, Ma Chun-seok's statement to Shin Shin was different. Because he suffered from domestic violence from his father when he was young, he never uses violence. The curiosity grew as to which of the two was telling the truth.

Shin Seong had a question at this point. I couldn't understand why the wife, who had been threatened by her husband, came back home. After expecting to be beaten by her husband, she contacted the 'Women's Home' in advance as if asking for help, and after the divorce, she planned to go back to Vietnam. I chose to go to Korea for my marriage because I had many younger siblings to feed, but I did not understand the idea of going back to Vietnam with my child.

In addition, according to the investigation conducted by Seong Shin's friends Jang Hyeong-geun (played by Kim Sung-gyun) and Jo Jeong-sik (played by Jeong Moon-seong) in Haenam, Ma Chun-seok worked twice as hard to feed his wife's family in Vietnam. Rather, it was said that it was strange that the Vietnamese wife did not improve her speech even after diligently attending Korean language classes.

In a situation where it was not yet possible to determine what was true, Shin Seong personally went to Haenam to visit Ma Chun-seok. We also confirmed Ma Chun-seok's good heart by hearing about how he met his Vietnamese wife and how he decided to get married.

However, since good intentions do not necessarily lead to the truth, Shin Seong asked Ma Chun-seok and furthermore Din Ti-hwa, whom he met in court, an important question about whether his son, Ma Yeong-gwang, was Ma Chun- seok's child. This issue served as the most important variable in proving the restoration of honor, and Park Yoo-seok also asked the same question to Dinh Ti-hwa before the trial. Episode 8 ended with Shin Seong's stern attitude requesting a paternity test for Ma Chun-seok and Din Ti-hwa.

Attention is being paid to how the fiery truth battle between Cho Seung-woo, who got to the heart of the rare case, and Jeon Bae-soo, whose loopholes were exploited, will end, and whether Cho Seung-woo will be able to resolve his client's injustice and restore his honor.

Episode 9 of 'Sacred, Divorced' will be broadcast at 10:30 pm on April 1.
