'The Glory' Jeong Sung-il "I loved Ha Do-young and Moon-dong"

Regarding working with Song Hye-kyo, Jeong Seong-il said, "I received a lot of help," and laughed, saying, "Where can I go to see Song Hye-kyo?" He continued, “It was comfortable from the beginning. I liked Song Hye-kyo’s acting in ‘That Winter, the Wind Blows.’ I also said, ‘I thought you were so cool back then.’ Hye-kyo also said, ‘I worked hard and had fun back then.’” reported. He continued, "I was surprised, 'Oh, this is why this guy has been acting for a long time.' He showed me more than I thought. I was able to focus at the same time. It was cool. It was fun. I also felt a little strange. After it was over, I felt relieved. “Do I have to say that I did it? I felt like I did a good job,” he said.
Viewers responded that the chemistry between Jeong Sung-il and Lee Do-hyun was better than that of Lee Do-hyun. Regarding this, Jeong Seong-il was humble and said, "No, I'm not lenient on myself. I don't think I did what I did well. Even in 'The Glory', my scenes were slightly overlooked. I'm still embarrassed." He then burst into laughter, saying, “I think that was said because of the origin scene, but actually, I thought that scene was cool.” He said, "The director filmed it well and the music was good. The result was good, so I think people responded that the two had good chemistry. Thank you."
When asked if Ha Do-young's feelings for Moon Dong-eun were love, Jeong Seong-il said, "Ha Do-young couldn't say it was love, but as a person named Jeong Seong-il, I think love is something that makes you curious, breathtaking, and exciting. While doing what you like, “I think it’s love if it takes your breath away.”
The cold Ha Do-young was kind and warm to her daughter Ha Ye-sol (played by Oh Ji-yul). Even though Ha Do-yeong knew that Ye-sol was not his bloodline, he protected her and embraced her as his own daughter. Regarding his portrayal of fatherly love, Seong-il Jeong said, "At first, I had no idea how much I felt for Ye-sol. Since I have a child myself, I know how scary it is to raise a child. That's why I sympathized with him. How important this child is to me. 'I do everything.' 'Can I protect this child even if I give up my job or social life that I risked my life on? Even though she is not my daughter?' “I thought about it, and it made sense,” he confessed. He continued, "It's so pretty when you raise a child. I don't want to be away from you even for a moment. Even if it's hard, just looking at the child makes everything go away." He continued, "In some ways, I think Ha Do-young was the most comfortable person, a person who could take everything away and deal with it directly. “He said.
