‘The Glory’ Lee Do-hyun, he was a friendly crazy guy

Lee Do-hyun played the role of Joo Yeo-jeong, a plastic surgeon and blind assistant to Moon Dong-eun (played by Song Hye-kyo), in Part 2 of the Netflix series 'The Glory', which was released on the 10th. Lee Do-hyun led the flow of the play by going back and forth between various genres in a fierce revenge drama.
First, Lee Do-hyun, who completed the character of Joo Yeo-jeong, a 'friendly crazy guy' with a temperature that goes back and forth between friendly charm and scaryness, played the role of an absolute helper by declaring that he would become a 'sword-dancing bastard' for Moon Dong-eun, whose soul was broken by school violence. He gave relief with his blind promise, "A fool doesn't ask why he died," and made Moon Dong-eun, who was emotionally dry, laugh with his friendly appearance.
In addition, Lee Do-hyun led the play with a strong breath that did not lag behind the fierce momentum of the villains. The scene with Park Yeon-jin (played by Lim Ji-yeon), who clearly shows the friendly crazy person, is also a hot topic. Park Yeon-jin, who came to Joo Yeo-jeong Hospital, calmly warned, "Do you know that? If you inject it without removing all the air, the person could die," giving a creepy twist. In this way, Lee Do-hyun further heightened the sense of crisis in the play with his calm tone in contrast to the perpetrators who were unable to control their anger and went on a rampage.
In particular, the fierce acting battle with Kang Yeong-cheon (played by Lee Moo-saeng) provided intensity. When Joo Yeo-jeong faced Kang Yeong-cheon, who murdered her father, she shed tears and lost her composure. However, seeing Kang Yeong-cheon consistently smiling with an eerie smile, Joo Yeo-jeong swallowed her anger and pledged to go on an even more desperate 'journey of revenge', attracting attention.
In this way, Lee Do-hyun showed off his expanded acting spectrum through ‘The Glory’. Not only did he provide intensity by being completely integrated with the character of Joo Yeo-jeong, who has two sides, but he also proved why only Lee Do-hyun can portray this character with perfect control of pace and speed, earning favorable reviews from global fans.
Lee Do-hyun will appear in the JTBC Wednesday-Thursday drama 'Bad Mom', which will be aired for the first time on April 26 at 10:30 PM.
