‘Peak Time’ received standing ovation and tears

In the 6th episode of JTBC's entertainment show 'PEAK TIME', which aired on the 15th, a fierce battle between vocal and dance units was depicted with the remaining two benefits at stake. Although we encountered limitations and were frustrated, we overcame them through consideration and hard work and created a brilliant peak time. Not only the judges but also viewers gave warm praise to the Michin stage, which was created by being reborn as a unit.
The second round 'Union Match' was held in a way that four alliances (A, B, C, D) formed vocal, rap, and dance units to compete for each position. The alliance with the first-place unit received an unprecedented benefit of 2% of the total cumulative votes, and the team with the MVP for each unit received an additional 5% of the total cumulative votes, making the stage more sparkling than ever.
Vocal C (Team 11:00 Tae-hwan, Team 13:00 Yeongseo, Team 15:00 Taebin and Il-kyung, Team 24:00 Kim Byeong-ju and GON), who impressed everyone with their beautiful harmony, stood out, while Vocal A (Team 2:00 Yoon Hyuk) stood out. · Hyeong-jin, Kim Yeon-gyu (Team 5), Woo Joo (Team 9), and Hong Seong-jun and Yoon Jeong-hwan (Team 18) showed off their upgraded skills. In particular, vocalist A, who set out to renew the atmosphere with a strategy of boldly swapping Team 2:00's Yoonhyuk, who was in the dance unit, and Team 2:00's Eunho, who was in the vocal unit, selected DAY6's 'So We Can Be One Page', free. Vocal harmony was achieved amidst free-spirited energy. Amid the applause after the performance, the judges also watched their growth with happy smiles. Tiffany Young said, “I almost cried. “I miss our members, and it was a stage that reminded me of people who achieved something together,” he said, expressing his emotion.
Vocal honor student Vocal B (Team 8:00 Run and Theo, Team 20:00 Bitsaeon, Team 21:00 Im Chan, Team 23:00 Garam and Injun) performed on stage by selecting Park Jin-young's "Behind You." The judges praised the highly immersive stage where each and every line was sung with sincerity. Vocal D (Team 1:00 Luo, Team 4:00 Jun, Team 7:00 Heejae and Ire, Team 14:00 Choi Jun-seong), who selected IU's 'Child and My Sea', made a big impact with beautiful and appealing harmonies. After the stage ended, there was a standing ovation, and the judges continued to praise the performers. Ryan Jeon said, “I was so moved that it felt like it was a song by five people. “I was moved to tears when I saw how hard they worked to prepare.”
The winner of the vocal unit battle went to vocalist D. The reunion of Team 1:00 Luo and Team 7:00 Heejae and Ire on the same stage was even more touching. Luo said, “The team was suddenly disbanded. “It was nice to be able to stand on stage (together), and it’s sad to think that we’re breaking up again,” he said, making everyone cry.

Dance B, which boasted 'another level' from the mid-term evaluation (Team 8:00 D1, Yuku, Junseo, Harry Jun, Heechan, Team 21:00 Kiyong, Yuma, Takeru, Team 23:00 Jay) selected AJR's 'Bang!' , received praise for his colorful facial expressions combined with his spectacular performance. Lee Gikwang said, “It was to the point where we wanted to perform together. “It’s the best performance I’ve seen this year,” he said, praising it. Dance B remained in second place despite favorable reviews.
Third place went to Dance D (Team 1: Minseok, On, Hyungjin; Team 4: Jihoon, Hamin; Team 14: Lee Shin, Son Junhyung, Prince, Jinwoo Lee), who competed with 2nd place by 1 point. Dance D's performance of Little Mix's 'Power', full of energy and running without stopping, was also impressive. Kyuhyun said, “These people danced until they vomited. He praised his passion by saying, “I feel sorry for sitting down like this and writing down scores.” Kim Seong-gyu said to leader Son Jun-hyung, “I felt the weight and responsibility of a leader to lead this team. “I worked so hard that it was difficult to give a score, and I want to say thank you,” he said.
Dance A boasting a mega crew scale (Team 2: Jaemin, Changhoon, Hojun, Eunho, Seungwon; Team 5: Seokrakwon, Ryu Junmin, Bae Hyunjun, Jeong Seunghwan, Wonbin; Team 9: Jinhwa, Joohan, Goyu, Chris, Rutan, Team 18:00 Kim Si-hoon (Team 18:00 Kim Si-hoon) overwhelmed everyone's attention by performing a musical-like performance of Johnny Stimson's 'Gimme Gimme'. The teamwork that created an intense yet intense performance perfectly without any error was outstanding. Kyuhyun expressed his admiration for the hidden effort, saying, “Seeing them working together made me think about how hard this team had practiced.”
All competitions in the 2nd round ‘union match’ have ended. Vocal D, Rap B, and Dance C won and received benefits. But it doesn't end here. This is because the MVP for each unit, with 5% of the total cumulative votes, could turn the game around. Attention is focused on the final results of the second round 'joint match', the results of which cannot be predicted until the end.
Meanwhile, in the 7th episode of 'Peak Time', behind-the-scenes footage of the training camp and the 3rd round 'new song match' were also announced. Here, along with the words, “It has finally come,” the ‘Haptal ceremony’ was also revealed, making my heart flutter.
The 7th episode of 'Peak Time', where the first 'summation ceremony' that will decide the fate of the participating teams will be held, will be broadcast at 10:30 pm on the 22nd.
